CorePoise — Jakarta

A plain guide to men's supplements in Indonesia

CorePoise is an English-language reading room for Indonesian men who want to understand what is actually inside the suplemen pria and vitamin pria sold around them. We look at ingredients, formats and label wording, then explain them in ordinary sentences. If a claim on a box is vague, we say so.

What this site covers

You will find three kinds of pages here, and each one answers a different kind of question. Start wherever your question is.

Ingredients

One herb at a time

Explainer pages take a single herb or nutrient — maca, Panax ginseng, Pasak Bumi — and describe where it comes from and how Indonesian labels usually present it. These are the names you will keep meeting on the shelf.

Formats

Match the format to your day

Product-type guides cover kapsul, tablet, softgel and multivitamin blends. The question is not which one wins, it is which one you will actually remember to take at home or at work.

Comparisons

Same four fields, every product

Comparison pages put well-known products side by side by format, ingredient focus and typical retail channel. They show differences rather than declaring a winner.

Compare men's supplements

Four words do most of the work on Indonesian shelves: stamina, vitalitas, kesuburan and prostat. They are not interchangeable.

Why "stamina" and "vitalitas" mean different things

Walk through any Jakarta pharmacy and you will see the word stamina on a lot of boxes. Vitalitas appears almost as often.

Stamina

Stamina messaging tends to focus on energy and everyday endurance — the kind of wording you see on products aimed at men who train, work long hours or commute hard. Read it as a claim about getting through the day.

Look for: energy and endurance wording, format and serving size, pack count.

Vitalitas

Vitalitas usually leans toward libido and performance. Formulas in this group are often tablets and often pair herbal extracts with zinc or vitamin E, which is why the label reads differently from a stamina product.

Look for: libido and performance wording, zinc or vitamin E in the list, tablet versus capsule.

Kesuburan

Fertility products are a third cluster with their own vocabulary. Products such as Nutrimax Male Formula Rx are positioned around fertility alongside stamina, and they often combine herbal extracts with zinc, selenium or vitamin E.

Look for: fertility wording, zinc and selenium, a capsule format and pack size.

Prostat

Prostate questions arrive later in life, usually after a doctor visit or a routine check. Saw palmetto, zinc and selenium appear frequently in this category, and the way these products are written up differs from the vitality shelf.

Look for: saw palmetto, zinc and selenium, and clear dosage per serving.

Knowing which cluster a product belongs to tells you more than the front label does. The same brand can sell into two or three of them at once.

Herbal ingredients with local roots

Indonesia has its own herbal tradition, and it shows up in commercial formulas. Epimaxx, for example, is described by Halodoc as containing purwoceng, maca and Pasak Bumi — a combination tied to maintaining stamina and energy. Natureline Men's Health Kapsul, sold by Watsons Indonesia, lists Panax ginseng, Epimedium, Pasak Bumi and Ginkgo biloba. These are the names you will keep meeting, so we explain each one properly rather than repeating the front-of-box phrasing.

Root extracts

Pasak Bumi, purwoceng, maca

The three root names that anchor most local stamina formulas, and the ones whose dosage is hardest to read off a marketplace listing.

Adaptogen & circulation

Panax ginseng, Epimedium, Ginkgo biloba

Imported names that sit beside the local roots in the same capsule, and usually appear in standardised extract form.

Formats: capsules, tablets, softgels

Most men's products in Indonesia come as kapsul because capsules are easy to swallow and easy to count. Tablets are common in the vitality segment, including Nature's Health Cougar, which is sold as a tablet product. Softgels usually carry oil-based ingredients. None of these formats is better in itself — what matters is whether the format fits how you actually take things.

Common supplement formats sold in Indonesia and what each one typically carries
Format Usually carries Typical shelf
Kapsul Herbal extracts, single or blended Stamina and fertility ranges
Tablet Compressed blends with zinc or vitamin E Vitalitas and vitality ranges
Softgel Oil-based ingredients Imported and pharmacy lines
Multivitamin blend Broad vitamin and mineral mix Sport and daily-wellness shelves
Open hand holding two softgel capsules in front of a soft-lit kitchen counter with a water glass nearby
Softgels are the format most often used for oil-based ingredients, which is why the capsule looks different from a pressed tablet in the same brand family.

Multivitamins versus single-ingredient products

GNC Mega Men Sport sits on one side of the shelf: a multivitamin and mineral supplement for men with active lifestyles, sold through GNC Indonesia. Solaray Maca Root 525mg sits on the other, a 100-capsule product built around one herb.

A multivitamin covers broad daily gaps. A single-ingredient product is a focused choice. Mixing both without reading labels is how people end up doubling the same vitamin.

Broad blend

Everyday gaps across several vitamins and minerals. Harder to tell what overlaps with something you already take.

Single herb

One ingredient with a stated amount per serving. Easier to read, easier to keep track of across products.

Stamina products shoppers actually see

Nutrimax Stamina X appears in Guardian Indonesia's men's health range with branding centred on stamina and energy. Nutrimax Male Formula Rx, from the same retailer, is marketed for stamina, vitality, fertility and hormones, and appears in retail listings as a capsule. Galeri Farmen's lineup, discussed by Halodoc, spans both herbal and multivitamin variants. One brand family can cover several roles, which is why the brand name alone rarely tells you what you are buying.

Pharmacy range

The same brand, two different jobs

Stamina X and Male Formula Rx share a brand name, but the second one carries fertility and hormone wording on top of stamina. Reading the two listings next to each other is quicker than reading either one alone.

What changes

  • Positioning line on the front of the box
  • Whether fertility words appear
  • Capsule count and serving size
  • Which retailer lists it

Where Indonesian shoppers buy

Three channels dominate, and each lists roughly the same core categories. What differs is how much detail you get before you commit.

Pharmacy chains

Guardian and Watsons listings tend to name the format and pack size clearly, which makes them the easiest place to confirm what you read elsewhere.

Marketplaces

Often the widest selection and the fastest place to compare prices, but the ingredient list is sometimes buried below the fold or missing entirely.

Health platforms

Articles and product notes from platforms such as Halodoc explain a formula in prose, which helps when the shelf listing only shows a brand and a count.

We note the typical channel for the products we cover so you know where to go and verify a label. All contact details for CorePoise are on the contact page.

Reading a label before you buy

Look for four things. If a listing shows none of them, that is information too. Our comparison pages use the same four fields so products line up fairly.

First

Ingredient list with amounts

Amounts per serving, not just the names. A list without numbers tells you very little.

Second

Serving size

"Per capsule" and "per day" are not the same number, and the gap can be two or three capsules.

Third

Format and total count

Kapsul, tablet or softgel, plus how many are in the pack. This is the easiest field to check between two shops.

Fourth

Manufacturer or distributor

A name you can look up. When it is absent from an online listing, treat that as a reason to keep reading.

Fertility and kesuburan products

Kesuburan is a distinct keyword in Indonesia and deserves its own reading. Products such as Nutrimax Male Formula Rx are positioned around fertility alongside stamina, and formulas in this group often combine herbal extracts with zinc, selenium or vitamin E. We explain what each of those nutrients is commonly discussed for, without turning a supplement label into a medical promise.

Prostate topics for older men

Prostat questions arrive later in life, usually after a doctor visit or a routine check. Saw palmetto, zinc and selenium appear frequently in this category. Our prostate page explains what these ingredients are and how the products are positioned, in the same plain register as the rest of the site — background reading, not a substitute for a conversation with a clinician.

Our editorial approach

We write from product listings, retailer pages and public health articles, and we name our sources inside the text. We do not run our own trials, and we do not claim that any product here has been clinically proven. When a claim comes from a product page rather than independent information, we say that too. Corrections are welcome and we act on them.

Who this site is for

CorePoise is written for adult men in Indonesia who are new to supplements and want a starting point. If you are already deep into training nutrition, some pages will feel basic. If you are buying your first multivitamin, they should feel about right. Everything is in English, but the products, ingredients and retail context are Indonesian.

About CorePoise

Questions visitors ask first

Are the products on CorePoise sold here?

No. CorePoise is an information site. We describe products available in Indonesia and link the information back to its source, but we do not sell, ship or take orders.

Do you recommend one product over another?

We compare products by format, ingredient focus and typical retail channel. The comparison pages show differences rather than declaring a winner, because the right fit depends on what you are already taking and why.

Is the content medical advice?

It is not. We explain ingredients and label wording in plain English. For anything related to a health condition, medication you take, or symptoms you notice, speak with a doctor or pharmacist in Indonesia. Supplements are not medicines.

Found something unclear on a label?

We read product listings, retailer pages and public health articles, and we correct the site when a reader points out something that does not match. Send us the product, the ingredient or the wording that looks off, and we will look at it.
